Culinary Training Program

The WARM Center offers a culinary training program that provides helpful skills in obtaining and maintaining employment.  This 13 week course may include Serve Safe & Food Handling Certification.

Program participants will learn the following skills:

  • Nutritional values of foods
  • Developing a healthy meal on a budget
  • Learning to prepare a shopping list for meal plans
  • Food preparation
  • Basic cooking skills
  • Table setting
  • Serving
  • Bussing tables
  • Inventory
  • Ordering
