Welcome House
In 2022, WARM Center proudly acquired Welcome House, ensuring that this vital program could continue serving individuals exactly as it always has—providing safety, stability, and support to those experiencing homelessness.
Welcome House remains fully operational and continues its long-standing mission, now as a program of WARM Center. By bringing Welcome House under the WARM Center umbrella, we strengthened our ability to provide consistent services, enhanced support, and long-term pathways to housing while preserving the heart, values, and day-to-day operations that the community knows and trusts.
If you were looking for Welcome House, you’re in the right place. The doors are still open, the services are still here, and the commitment to compassion, dignity, and hope remains stronger than ever—now supported by WARM Center’s broader network of programs and resources.
WARM Center’s Welcome House in Wakefield is a year-round emergency shelter designed to provide stability and support for adults experiencing homelessness. The program is shared-bedroom style, with designated men’s and women’s sides of the house, offering more privacy than traditional dorms while maintaining a supportive, community environment.
